JERRY MCLOUGHLIN - Ballina

I got a call from Jerry one day about the project and straightway we were talking about hay barns, vernacular buildings and the like. It was no surprise we got on rightly when we met and he showed me his collection of dressers. The main one was in his home in Ballina while he had another three around the house, some American and the rest Irish. He lived in The States for a number of years and managed to rescue the dressers from his home during a re-visit to Mayo. However, when he returned some years later, the dressers and bits and pieces were all gone.  This was bought when he eventually returned home and is full of objects of great energy and positivity.
