SIOBHAN KELLY - Foxford

Siobhan had two dressers in her home. The more ornate dresser came from Co. Wexford, while the other dresser was made by a man who was lodging with her family in the 1940’s. The ornate dresser doesn’t look like any I’ve seen in Wexford and could have been imported by a dealer. The 1940‘s dresser is in everyday use, however she was getting an exact replica made by a local carpenter when I visited. The dresser made by in the 1940’s is simple with clean lines and plain design features. The drawers and doors all contained locks, and separate compartments for cutlery.
